As part of Global PM/EPC Logistics & Material Management, the Global Logistics Strategy & Tendering department is responsible to identify and implement new technologies, new strategies, and improvement projects along the transport chain during the installation phase of our wind farms. We ensure adequate logistics budgets, as well as create and establish best in class processes and support the Tooling, Material Management, and Execution teams on tactical and strategic initiatives., * Create and establish best in class logistics processes along the transport chain * Facilitate the roll-out of new technologies, new strategies, and processes in Global Logistics & Material Management and beyond * Support the creation of logistics manuals and instructions * Ensure documents are accessible and are being applied throughout the entire transport chain * Assist in training for personnel in e.g. ports and facilities * Implement and ensure checkpoints at strategic spots along the transport chain * Participate in prototype tests and critical logistics operations * Perform analysis and implement short term corrections of processes and procedures to avoid damages to main components * Identify and implement improvement measures and support to digitalize our entire transport chain * Lead special logistics projects
* University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or comparable education * 5+ years of work experience in the field of Logistics or Supply Chain management * Strong organization skills and interface thinking approach * End-to-End thinking when it comes down to Logistics Processes * Independent and structured way of working * Strong ability of problem-solving, including a hands-on mentality to get things done * Business fluent English language skills; German and/or Spanish are a plus * Project Management and Process Management experience are a plus * Digital mindset * Ability to work in different business cultures * Willingness to travel regularly
